Time affects memory reducing quality and dimension: facts lose their contours, fade, the particular overlaps and tend to wipe out.
Starting in 1933, Nazi had developed the first mechanism of truth falsification and the manipulation of pubblic opinion: at the end of the conflict, Thrird Reich had sought in every way to eliminate witness and the traces of massacres of those it become responsible in the death camps.
Beginning my "Holocaust Visions" with Felix Nussbaum's "Selbtsblidnis mit Judenpass" (of whom I painted a copy), I decided to cover the whole lentgth of the Shoah from Hitler's rise to the Reichskristallnacht, from the Warsaw Ghetto visions to the Final Solution.
My commitment is to prevent with remembrance and evidence that the future
generation have not to suffer similar tragic experiences.
